About the Event

‘The Congress is an extremely valuable and important event in the context of the further development of the Three Seas Initiative, which was designed primarily as a platform for economic and infrastructural cooperation, but in such a flexible way that we can successfully develop also its local or regional, i.e. self-government, dimension,’ said President Andrzej Duda during the opening ceremony of the fourth edition of the Congress on 13 June 2024 in Lublin.

The Three Seas Initiative Forum of Regions is a project initiated by President  Andrzej Duda in 2018 in Rzeszów. On 29-30 June 2021, the first Three Seas Local Government  Congress and the II Three Seas Initiative Forum of Regions took place in Lublin. The second Three Seas Congress and the accompanying Economic Forum took place on 6-7 June 2022, the third on 16-17 May 2023, and the fourth on 12-13 June 2024. All editions were held under the Honorary Patronage of the Polish President.

The local government of the Lubelskie Voivodeship invites you to the next edition of the Congress on 12-13 March 2025, which has become a regular international economic event bringing together representatives of the government and local government administration, science and business sectors from the 13 member states of the Three Seas Initiative (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary and Greece), representatives of strategic partners (the European Commission, the United States of America, the Federal Republic of Germany, and Japan) and associated regions from Ukraine and Moldova.
