Apart from economic development objectives, the Three Seas Initiative countries also pursue other aims, such as:

• Increased interest from investors. The 3SI countries offer investors potentially higher rates of return.
• Power security. Apart from being an economic matter, electric power is also a strategic and security-related issue.
• Geopolitics in the Three Seas region safeguards current geopolitical interests and at the same time it opposes unfavourable trends.
• Intelligent communication. In new investment projects, the objective is to make maximum use of the experience and potential of the region for the implementation of digital solutions.
• Climate-related objectives. The holistic approach of Central Europe countries focused on the development of modern and state-of-the-art infrastructure will help reduce CO₂ emissions and achieve carbon neutrality.
