The first edition of the Event held in June 2021 gathered more than 730 participants in total. Among 81 speakers there were leaders of key sectors of the Polish and foreign economies, prominent world politicians, as well as representatives of public administration and local governments. During 2-day intensive exchange of knowledge and experience (18 panels) the speakers discussed issues essential for development of Polish and foreign economy, i.e., among others, diplomacy, energy, finances, innovations, science, agriculture, transport, digital transformation, tourism, interregional and transborder cooperation of the Three Seas Initiative area.
The Event was held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, who also took part in the opening ceremony.
During the Congress, the Declaration of Lublin was signed, which created the basis for permanent and stable partnership of local governments of the Three Seas area. In future years, this document will be a tool for establishing regular contacts and taking up numerous joint initiatives.
