We can observe big changes in the structure of population by age. “ The share of people in the pre-productive and productive age has decreased and the share of those in the post-productive age has increased. The pre-productive age refers to 0-17 age group – it is a decrease from 18.7% to 18.2%. We have an essential increase of the post-productive age – from 16.95 to 21.8%” – President of Statistics Poland Dominik Rozkut said.

On 31st March 2021, the number of flats in Poland amounted to 15.2 million. It is a decrease by 12.6%, i.e. 1.7 million flats” - Rozkut said. We have 6.8 million buildings in Poland, which means it is more by 800 thousand and by 13.3% more than in 2011.
